Meet our team (HQ)

Connie Lu

Executive Director

After seeing many far too many youth struggle with navigating the healthcare pathway or learning how to build important skills such as research and public speaking, I started NeuroSeed to bridge the gap between passion and a lack of proper tools and guidance. Driven by curiosity and my aspiration to become a pediatric neurologist, I wanted to create a platform that could leave behind meaningful change and help other students like me achieve their goals. What began as a fleeting idea scribbled down in my notebook has blossomed into powerful movement that I hope can continue to inspire the youth in the many days to come. Outside of academia, I enjoy playing badminton, drawing, and doing puzzles.

Anne KATO

Co-Executive Director

My name is Anne, and I’m from Texas. I’ve been riding horses since I was five and I love watching/listening to video essays on YouTube or Spotify. I joined NeuroSeed because I noticed that neuroscience lies near to the intersection of biology and psychology—both of which being subjects that I’m also curiosity about. Thus, leading me to want to learn more about the science of the brain.

As for STEM, I'm currently interested in pursuing physics and engineering in the future! Being apart of the NeuroSeed allowed me to showcase my efforts and talents, I can't wait to see where it leads in the future. I'm constantly busying myself, you'll always find me learning new repertoire, picking up a paintbrush, or learning from my heavy-duty Stewart Calculus text book!

Adrija SAMADDER

Researcher

My curiosity for science was sparked early on by my father. What began as a simple fascination soon grew into a habit of exploring both fiction and nonfiction centered around science. Over time, this curiosity has shaped my interest in neuroscience and marine biology. I value being a “jack of all trades,” constantly seeking out new challenges and perspectives. Whether through sports, self-learning skills like origami, or exploring new ideas, I push myself beyond my comfort zone. I enjoy staying intellectually engaged. Currently, I spend my time reading, running, watching tennis. I am driven by curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn. I hope to collaborate, exchange ideas, and create meaningful impact with like-minded individuals through NeuroSeed!
